Areas of Emphasis

Willie Price Early Childhood Center – The Graduate Center is supporting staff at the Willie Price Early Childhood Center on campus. Willie Price serves three and four year-old children using the most current instructional strategies and curriculum that is age appropriate. Support to staff is in the form of professional development and classroom coaching.

North Mississippi Education Consortium – In partnership with NMEC, the Center provides professional development to area teachers of children ages 4-8 years of age.

Supporting Early Childhood Teacher Educators in Mississippi – The Center manages a list serve for early childhood teacher educators at community college and university campuses across the state. The list serve is one method of informing the teacher educators in the state about current research and state level policies and programs.
